Lolawolf – everyfuckinday EP

Lolawolf is back!

After a stellar 2014 marked with the release of an EP and a heavily slept on full length, entitled Calm Down, the Brooklyn based trio led by Zoe Kravitz (that’s right – Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet’s kid) just put out a free five track EP called everyfuckinday.

On the whole, the EP is a bit edgier than the pop/R&B sounds we’ve previously heard from the group.

The belligerent break-up anthem House Key is my favorite cut on here.

Head over to Lolawolf’s website to pick up the EP for free.

Big Black Delta – “It’s Ok”

Speaking of returns, we got a new single from Big Black Delta this week.

It’s Ok” picks up where BBD’s eponymous album from 2013 left off.

A little bit of ELO, a dash of 80s MTV synth pop, shake it up with a modern twist, and voila!

It’s Ok” is the first single from BBD’s next album, Teragame Tiera, which is due out early next year and already available to preorder.

London O’Connor – O∆

London O’Connor is a 24 year old artist on his own wavelength.

A rapper whose self-produced, self released left of center songs touch on themes of loneliness and vulnerability.

I could go on and on describing O∆, but all you really need to know is that this is a really solid weirdo rap album for people into weirdo rap (like myself). It might not hit you right away, but the more you listen to it, the more you’ll probably like it.

The new album O∆ is available as a free download here.

Nicolas Jaar – Pomegranates

Nicolas Jaar has been quietly killing it lately with his Nymphs 12″ series on his Other People imprint.

He gave his fans even more reason to be excited a couple weeks ago when he sent out this tweet:
