We hosted 125 performances on Morning Becomes Eclectic this year and the variety of artists was pretty stunning, from the experimental electronics of Daniel Lanois to dueling guitarists Rodrigo y Gabriela, the funky jams of Chromeo, and full on rock-out sessions from Ty Segall and Sleepy Sun.
We hosted longtime favorites like Beck, Pixies, David Gray and Roseanne Cash and the live radio debuts of up and comers like Hozier, Griz and Jamestown Revival.
It was a great year and MBE Host Jason Bentley chooses his most memorable live sessions below.
He specifically asked to include this photo with Sharon Jones, who was bald due to chemotherapy and told him about her amazing story of personal triumph during their interview. It was a special moment for all of us.
