The new track by Arctic Monkeys is straight up sexy. They burst onto the scene as teenagers and now it’s clear they are all grown up. The UK group gets bonus points for getting Josh Homme to contribute to their forthcoming full length “AM,” due on September 9.
Fans of QOTSA will dig this — it’s got that dark, slightly sinister feeling to it:
I often complain that there aren’t enough great rock bands but Austin’s White Denim ALWAYS delivers.
Their musicianship is phenomenal so their jams are always a delight, but it’s the poppy touch on this song that takes it over the top. Easy to listen on repeat.
“Corsicana Lemonade” will be out on October 29.
Diego Garcia has a new label and a brand new track that is pure positivity.
“Sunnier Days” is available as a free download on Soundcloud. A long way from his former indie rock days as a member of Elefant, his new album — out October 8th via Concord Records — is called “Paradise”. Clearly he’s in a good place and wants to share the happy vibes with the rest of us.
