First Fridays is Back in 2013! Presented by KCRW

First Fridays by Jeremiah Garcia

KCRW will be presenting the First Fridays series at the Natural History Museum for the 4th year in a row in 2013. It’s a big year for NHM as they are celebrating their 100-year anniversary! A little music, a little science and some HUGE dinosaurs. That’s why this series rules!

Starting in January, the museum doors will stay open until 10pm once a month for this all ages event.

LA’s own Lord Huron kicks things off January 4, 2013. Their full length debut is full of evocative, majestic songs inspired by nature so I can’t imagine a better fit! Local trio Wildcat! Wildcat! will open the show with a set of indie electro pop.

Advance tickets often sell out fast. They are go on sale to Natural History Museum members on November 30 and to the public on December 3 (both at 10am). Get tickets here.

Also, there are always a limited number of tickets available at the door.
