New Multitudes feat. Jim James, Jay Farrar, Will Johnson, Anders Parker & More on KCRW

Upcoming Live Performances on MORNING BECOMES ECLECTIC with host JASON BENTLEY

Thursday, March 8, A quartet of established musicians — Jay Farrar, Will Johnson, Anders Parker and Jim James — were invited to go through Woody Guthrie’s notebooks and napkin scribblings  to create new music from his unfinished songs.  We’ll hear what they came up with when New Multitudes performs live on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Monday, March 19,Sharon Van Etten wowed Los Angeles at the Hollywood Bowl last time she was in town and made her mark as a fearless performer to watch.  She manages to sound both tender and tough and we’re excited to hear her new songs live when she returns to Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Tuesday, March 20, Colombian-based DJ Quantic and British singer Alice Russell have joined forces and the result is Latin swing with a sweet soulful mix. We’ll hear it live on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.
