My dear friends,

This time is upon us again. In a couple of weeks we will turn another page — 2011 is on the horizon and I can already see it.

It was an eventful year all around, but since our main focus today is music we will leave it at that.

It is hard to listen to all that is available, but I had my fair share of listening time and I have compiled my favorite tunes of 2010, which was no easy task as you can imagine. It will take two shows to go through some of them (hence part one tonight and part deux next Friday).

So, I invite you to tune in at midnight tonight on 89.9 fm and kcrw.com for the first batch of my favorites of 2010 and see them in list form below!
