Jason Bentley presents an exclusive TRON: Legacy soundtrack preview when he talks with director Joseph Kosinski about the much anticipated film and shares highlights from Daft Punk’s score in the 10 o’clock hour on Morning Becomes Eclectic.

The duo known as The Books offer captivating and experimental songs that create “chapters” on their new release. Many of our DJs have been enthralled by this album and we’ll hear their distinctive sound live on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Tuesday, November 30

Renowned film composer Danny Elfman joins Jason Bentley to talk about his work with director Tim Burton — a collaboration that spans 25 years — highlighting scores to such iconic films as Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure to the more recent Alice In Wonderland. Hear it live on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:30am.

Friday, December 3

Sultry singer Andreya Triana and British producer Bonobo put out some of our favorite downtempo electronic music this year and to have them together for one performance is something truly special and not to be missed.  The duo perform live on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:115am.

Monday, December 6

As a musical ambassador, Chico Mann introduces the rhythms of Afrobeat to the music of Cuba on his latest CD, a favorite here at the station. He’ll perform his Latin hybrid with a full band for Morning Becomes Eclectic listeners at 11:15am.

Tuesday, December 7

Los Angeles artist Aloe Blacc started his career as a rapper, but it’s his recent recordings as a singer that have captured our attention. He bathes current concerns about the state of the world in the sound of vintage soul and we’ll hear it live when he joins Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Wednesday, December 8

After a long wait, garage rockers The Greenhornes have reemerged with some fantastic new songs that make us wish they never took a break. The Ohio trio will perform an array of songs from their latest release on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.
