Bombay Bicycle Club
is one of those artists that Jason played for the first time and I, literally, ran down the hall to find out who they were. He always cracks up as I burst into the studio out of breath asking “What IS this?” It was BBC’s track “Always Like This.” This was in April of 2009 and Jason only had an EP with a few tracks, but the song soon became a Morning Becomes Eclectic staple as we waited patiently to get our hands on their full length.

I Had the Blues But I Shook Them Loose” not only surpassed our expectations but is one of the greatest album titles of the year. Jason immediately gravitated towards a couple of new tracks, including “The Hill,” “The Giantess,” “Lamplight,” and “Magnet, which you can stream here.

While I love their music so much, I barely know anything about BBC. I know they’re from London, they’re a four-piece, and, hopefully, they will be touring the U.S. soon!
