Danny DeVito will be featured on All Things Considered from NPR this afternoon so I thought it would be a good time to resurrect his Guest DJ Project set.
Danny was among the first guests I approached about being on the show because I had spotted him backstage at Coachella a few years before. I made a mental note – Danny DeVito = music lover.
The Guest DJ Project requires that everyone choose just FIVE songs to talk about that have inspired them throughout their lives. Not surprisingly, people tell me I’m torturing them by making them choose only 5. But Danny picked up the phone and straight up yelled at me! He was joking, of course, but it was a moment I will never forget.
