Sample-based soul outfit Sonneymoon, have just been signed to LA indie label Plug Research, home to Bilal, Flying Lotus, Shafiq Husayn, Daedelus and many other artists. The label’s Andrew Lojero heard the band on my show. Both Aaron Byrd and I have been giving Sonneymoon a lot of spins since last year, so its wonderful to see such a wonderful musical outfit and a wonderful label work together.
