An estimated 6,000 people turned out for a fantastic (and free!) dance party and art experience on the plaza in front of the Fowler Museum on the UCLA campus, hosted by the Museum and KCRW. KCRW DJs Jason Bentley and Garth Trinidad provided the soundtrack for kids, party people and Soundsuit-wearing dancers alike. Attendees lined up to check out Nick Cave’s Soundsuit exhibit — “Meet Me at the Center of Earth” — and more inside the Fowler Museum, while hungry revelers grabbed some of the best food truck grub in the city. A BIG thanks to everyone who came out this Saturday, as well as the Fowler Museum!

Hey! Did you enjoy this piece? We can’t do it without you. We are member-supported, so your donation is critical to KCRW's music programming, news reporting, and cultural coverage. Help support the DJs, journalists, and staff of the station you love.
KCRW has decided to cancel this Sunday’s Good Food PieFest. We are aware of the campus protests at UCLA and believe it’s in the best interest for all to cancel.
PieFest is a beloved KCRW community event. As such, we will be looking into a possible reschedule and share the details as soon as we can.
