Pepi Ginsberg on MBE

When Jason Bentley introduced Pepi Ginsberg, he mentioned her two biggest fans at the station – DJ’s Anne Litt and Henry Rollins – and suggested that meant her music was “challenging and unconventional but tasteful and actually listenable.” And he is absolutely right.

I was a huge fan of Pepi’s previous album “Red” and her new work shows an entirely new side of the songwriter. The Brooklyn-based poet-turned-singer truly crafts images with her words. Her new band is fantastically tight and watching her dance around while performing is a joy.  Pepi has a truly unique voice –both literally and as a writer — emanates nothing but goodness both on stage and off.  Check out Pepi!
