Cold War Kids on MBE

Hi there.
This is Betsy – stepping in for RR as she pursues a pending fate as a Juror this week. (Fingers crossed RR.)

Today our dear Jason Bentley hosted Southern California-based Indie Pop Rockers, Cold War Kids in the Morning Becomes Eclectic Studio. The Twitterers kept me busy at my desk, so I didn’t make it down to the studio to enjoy the intimate performance in person. However, I did stream the video to my computer and I kept my eye on the #MBE Twitter Stream. We would love to have you join us next time. (Just tweet using #MBE or #KCRW)

Cold War Kids EPToday’s live performance included all four new songs from the upcoming release, Behave Yourself. Keep an eye out for the January 19, 2010 release of the new EP. Includes tracks :  ‘Audience’, ‘Coffee Spoon’, ‘Santa Ana Winds’ and ‘Sermons’.

This is the 3rd time that Cold War Kids have joined us in the MBE Studio. I’ve wrangled up some archives for those of you that, like me, can’t get enough of them today. (See below.) I am a cover junkie, and I absolutely adored the band’s cover of Creedance Clearwater Revival’s “Long as I Can See the Light”. You should definitely check it out and let me know what you think!

Catch ‘Audience’ here on YouTube and/or stream the show in its entirety (including interview) on the Morning Becomes Eclectic Show Page.
