Whose Streets?” is an unflinching look at how the killing of 18-year-old Mike Brown brought people into the streets of Ferguson, Missouri to make change. Told by activists and movement leaders, the film will make you sad and it and it will you angry – but it’s also an exhilarating look at the power of people when they stand together. It’s a movie that takes you to the beginnings of a movement.

“The Document” will screen “Whose Streets” for KCRW sustaining members on Tuesday, August 1st.

Doors open at 6:30 for food trucks and wine, the screening begins at 8:00 followed by a Q&A with filmmakers Sabaah Folayan and Damon Davis.
