BURBANK, CALIF.— “Seasons Spotlight: Movers and Shakers, Stars and Starmakers!” will showcase some of the biggest names in the Entertainment world tonight March 22, Tuesday at the Buena Vista branch of the Burbank Public Library at 7pm.
Hosting this big event is no other than Red-carpet host, Media pop culture personality, “Live Fearless” star and executive producer, Sam Botta. With a modulated, dinstinct and sensual voice, Sam Botta will be introducing Hollywood heavyweights like Journalism guru and Hollywood Reporter Senior Editor Alex Ben Block, world renowned radio personality Rick Dees, and one of film’s most successful and renowned producers, Chuck Fries among others. Actor Dorian Harewood, Spiderman stunt double Fred Waugh, and Troop Beverly Hills producer Ava Ostern Fries will also grace this much awaited event.
Featured on this year’s Season’s spotlight are among others, Alex Ben Block, who will be discussing his book “George Lucas's Blockbusting: A Decade-by-Decade Survey of Timeless Movies Including Untold Secrets of Their Financial and Cultural Success” written with co-author Lucy Autrey Wilson. The book is said to have analyzed the financial and creative processes that produced the most successful films of our times; Also set to feature a discussion and film retrospective is Chuck Fries.
