KCRW in partnership with dineLA,  teamed up with Whist Restaurant this past Monday as part of the KCRW Dinner Date series.  Seventy-five diners got to experience the debut of Whist’s new cuisine concept – a globally-influenced menu sourced from local Santa Monica markets and farms.

The ongoing, pop-up supper club brings together KCRW listeners, food lovers, and master chefs in an intimate, one-of-a-kind experience.

Each Dinner Date crafts a unique dining adventure, showcasing a different KCRW Fringe Benefits restaurant at each event. Last night featured a special, live DJ set by KCRW DJ Jeremy Sole, whose rhythmic beats set the perfect mood for an evening of making new friends.

A delicious meal inspired by Whist Executive Chef Tony DiSalvo, prepared with help by Chef de Cuisine and Season 11 Top Chef “Fan Favorite” Chris Crary, took diners on a culinary journey of vivid flavor combinations and inventive pairings.

KCRW is pleased to join Executive Chef and Owner Joseph Miller at the highly regarded, Abbott Kinney staple Joe’s for the next installment of KCRW Dinner Date on May 22nd. Tickets to the event are $30 and go on sale within a week, with all proceeds supporting KCRW.

Seems like an inelegant, non-extensible solution to a non-problem, to me. If you’re the sort of person who needs to navigate directly to a particular space using the keyboard, just turn on the keyboard shortcuts that assign your choice of modifier+number to each one.
