KCRW Foundation is excited to welcome our three newest members to the KCRW Foundation Board: Nina Jacobson, Principal, Color Force, producer Hunger Games; Kevin Systrom, co-founder and CEO, Instagram; Edward Woods, Partner, Akin Gump. We are so happy to have these three talented and passionate KCRW supporters joining us as we enter into a new era.

Nina, a Los Angeles Native, began a long and successful career in film as a documentary researcher. Her industry experience spans from Disney to Universal Pictures, and most recently she founded her own production company Color Force. Their projects include Diary of a Wimpy Kid and the ever popular Hunger Games trilogy.

Beyond work, Nina is active within the non-profit world, working with organizations like Teen Line, Feminist Majority Foundation, and Inner City Filmmakers. In 1995, she and film director Bruce Cohen formed Out There, a collection of gay and lesbian entertainment industry activists.

Nina is a long-time supporter, listener, and fan of KCRW.

A note from Kevin to you: “I’ve been listening online to KCRW for years, and I’m thrilled to join the Board and have the opportunity to work to further its mission.
