KCRW’s Spring Membership Drive is fast approaching however, this drive, we’re doing things a little differently — we’re coming out of the studio and taking our Membership Drive to the streets, with live ‘Pop-Up Pledge Parties’ all around town! We’re asking our audience to come with us, in a show of support for free and independent media, because passive listening is over – it’s time to get active and support KCRW! Won’t you join us?
On Wednesday, May 10, we’re kicking off our Spring Drive with a pop-up pledge party, LIVE from Union Station, during Morning Becomes Eclectic. Join KCRW DJs Jason Bentley and Anthony Valadez as they provide the soundtrack to LA’s morning commuters – spinning live, and on-air, from the beautiful west wing of Union Station.
On Saturday, May 13, KCRW DJ, Raul Campos, and Morning Becomes Eclectic host Jason Bentley, will be broadcasting live to an on-air and in-store audience from LA’s largest independent record store, Amoeba Music in Hollywood. From 3pm to 6pm, listeners can come meet some of their favorite KCRW DJs and browse Amoeba’s famous stacks together!
On Sunday, May 14, BYOM (bring your own mom) or someone you love to KCRW’s Mother’s Day Pop-Up Pledge Party at the Annenberg Community Beach House – an afternoon filled with music, provided by KCRW’s Anne Litt, lite bites and refreshments, ‘Awkward Family Photo’ portraits, and family-friendly lawn games.
Let’s cheers to the end of another successful KCRW membership drive! On Wednesday, May 17, We’re inviting current and new KCRW members to grab a KCRW themed cocktail and help celebrate with our DJs as they spin in the beautiful Hauser & Wirth courtyard – with extended hours especially for KCRW!
