In anticipation of the tenth anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, KCRW asked listeners to talk about where they were and what has changed for them since that day. While many are personal reflections and individual experiences, it is clear there are common threads that tie them together. This is a community memorial, a way to remember a horrible act that took thousands of lives, wounded a nation, and, as these voices remind us, bound us together ways that will linger long past September 11, 2011. We present these listener comments with only minor changes for audio or space reasons. We thank everyone who took the time to share their thoughts, and welcome your comments as well.

about 10-15 mins ago there was some song played on the radio and two parents said it was in remembrance of their son. anyone know what that was?

The House recently passed resolution to ‘never forget’ 9/11

1). I'll never forget the magic of a gigantic 575 slamming into the side of the pentagram at 750 mph and making an mere 18 ft impact hole.

2). I'll never forget the magic fire from that Pentagon plane crash being so hot it vaporized the aluminum body of the plane — and yet — AND YET — left human bodies unscathed enough to return to relatives for burial.

3). I'll never forget the psychic high-jackers being able to intuit complex numeric transponder combinations on 4 different commercial airliners with ease.

4). I'll never forget 3 — THREE TOWERS collapsing at free-fall speed, — FREE FALL SPEED defying the MOST ELEMENTARY Laws of Physics

5). Hard forget about that magic fire-retardant terrorist passport found on top of the rubble

6). I'll never forget those high-altitude cell phones (that hadn't even been developed yet)

    7). I'll never forget building 7

8). I'll never forget that our government is lying to us.

Thanks for the different tips contributed on this website. I have noticed that many insurance firms offer shoppers generous savings if they prefer to insure more and more cars with them. A significant variety of households own several autos these days, specially those with mature teenage youngsters still dwelling at home, along with the savings in policies might soon increase. So it makes sense to look for a good deal.
