Sorry…our screening is now full.

Filmed over a period of five years in twenty-five countries on five continents and shot on 70mm, “Samsara” is more a cinematic meditation than a documentary.  Imagine a machine that transports you effortlessly to beautiful and heart-wrenching places…sacred grounds, disaster zones, industrial complexes and natural wonders.  It’ll make you look at our world – and the people in it – in a whole new way.  Matt’s Movies will screen “Samsara” for KCRW Angels on Thursday the 30th in Hollywood followed by a Q&A with director Ron Fricke and producer Mark Magidson.  And believe me, you’re going to have a lot of questions!!

Here’s Sunday’s NY Times piece about “Samsara” – “Planetary Poetry, Woven Into a Movie.”

“Samsara” opens in LA on the 31st and in NY on the 24.  Tell your friends!
