Film (Festival) Capitol of the World!

Even though the LA Film Fest is fantastic, our fair city is not known for one of the “important” festivals - Sundance, Cannes, Toronto, Venice, Berlin…after all, what fun is it to party in your home town? But what we may (arguably) lack in “importance” we make up for in diversity. Here’s an (ever-growing) list of fascinating So Cal film fests as of March, 2013.

Note, I can’t vouch for most of these…I’ve only been to a handful!  But I’m committed to showing up to a couple of festivals this year that are totally out of my wheel house…any suggestions? And have I omitted any fests from this list?
