In the last 48 hours, we’ve listened to all 140 radio pieces submitted as part of the 24-Hour Radio Race.  Every single piece was heard by at LEAST two people. We judged them based on creativity, technical skill, and incorporation of the theme (which was ‘You Should Know’).

We are SO impressed by your grit, your creativity and the amazing stories you unearthed during the competition. After lots of thought and deliberation, we’re ready to announce the Top Ten! The following pieces will be passed on to our fantastic final judges: Rob Rosenthal (Transom, How Sound), Alix Spiegel (NPR), and Eleanor McDowall (BBC, Falling Tree Radio).

All the winners, including the winners of the Social Butterfly and UnFictional Awards, will be announced on Tuesday, August 12.
