U.S. Geological Survey Seismologist and Science Advisor for Risk Reduction Dr. Lucile Jones, also known as ‘The Earthquake Czar,’ stopped in at the KCRW Studios to talk pie.

March 14 or ‘Pi Day,’ as some refer to it, is based on the Greek π symbol used to represent the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. So how does one celebrate? With pie, of course! Listen to what Dr. Jones has to say about best pie practices at Caltech and more.
