Jonathan Gold is the Pulitzer Prize winning food writer for the LA Times. This week he reviews the new outpost of Terroni in Downtown LA. Gold recommends the puzza pizza, c’t mang pizza, maccheroncini geppetto, cavatelli alla norma and spaghetti al limone. He also enjoyed the wine list which leans heavily towards natural wines. House wines and half bottles are also available if you don’t want to break the bank or commit to a whole bottle.

I would love to see a ranking of restaurants on both food and decibels. One of my pet peeve is that restaurants that are already super loud are also having loud music so people yell over that as well.

There should be a separate room for people who don’t like noise. A special door at the back of the kitchen that leads to the alley behind the building.
