This week at the Santa Monica Farmer’s Market, Laura Avery interviewed Serena Herrick of Allumette, who told her about her favorite cocktail of the moment called “Poire Little Rich Boy,” featuring in-season asian pear juice.
1.5 oz Cap Rock Gin
1 oz Celery Juice
.75 oz Asian Pear Juice
.75 oz Lemon Juice
.5 oz Honey Syrup
3 eye droppers full of toasted black pepper tincture
Shake, strain into a Collins glass over ice. Top with soda water. Spray Cap Rock pear brandy across drink. Garnish with an Asian pear fan dipped in angostura bitters and black pepper. Enjoy!
