Don’t want to deal with this?

If you’re not up to cooking this year (or if you are up to cooking but once you start, you decide you’re not up to it anymore), a long list of LA restaurants is offering classy take-home dinners to serve instead.

Restaurants are offering a range of take-out menus, from full turkey dinners to selections of sides and pies. Those selling full meals will often let you buy sides separately if you don’t need a main course.

But make that choice right away as many outlets will stop taking orders soon.

Offering Full Meals

-Tavern - Organic turkey, Italian broccoli, whipped crème fraîche, et al. You can also dine in for dinner on Thursday.

-Huckleberry has white wine turkey thighs and a host of trendy grains and veggies – farro, quinoa cakes, raw kale salad with golden raisins and pine nuts, and endive salad with apples, bacon and argula.

-Akasha is offering trout and tofu options if you don’t like turkey.

-Farmshop is serving avocado hummus with its bird.

-M Cafe will sell you a macrobiotic Thanksgiving feast – seitan with herbed bread stuffing and cranberry-ginger relish or tempeh with mushroom gravy and wild rice pilaf.

-Real Food Daily has a kosher, vegan Thanksgiving menu.

-Napa Valley Grille has focaccia dressing to put on your turkey. They’re also serving a dine-in dinner on Thursday.

Just Sides (and dessert and other goodies)

-Sqirl is offering sides like brussels and bacon, cranberry and bourbon compote, and roasted Blue Hubbard squash and Gold Rush apple soup.

-Cooks County is serving wild mushroom bread pudding in lieu of traditional stuffing, as well as salads, biscuits and gluten-free pies.

-Josie has beer and bacon caramel corn, wild mushroom quiche, and pecan pumpkin cake.

-MB Post is selling cheddar buttermilk biscuits and a pork sausage and sage stuffing.
