    With all due respect—and a great deal of respect is due—to Ms. Corriher, that's not a pound cake. It does not have a pound of butter in it. (And a pound of sugar, a pound of eggs—that's 8 large—and a pound of flour. Maybe a pinch of salt and a little vanilla, that's it.)
