This week on Good Food, Ricardo Cervantes paid us a visit in the studio.  And, he brought a gift: a huge box of pan dulce from his panaderia La Monarca.

  • I have always wanted to know how Mexican bakers create the sugar pattern on the top of the Conchas. Is it done before or after baking?

Dude, where are the campechanas and the empanadas de camote or pina? This is incomplete and also suspiciously Central-American-ish.

  • I was able to meet Ricardo at the event at Saint Cecilia Cathedral in Los Angeles.
I search the bakery until now.
I am looking forward to visit one of the three locations.
