Ask Evan: Where to Watch the Royal Wedding in L.A.?

askevan_header_2Every Tuesday I answer a question from a Good Food listener.  You can email me a question, leave one on Facebook or add one in the comments section here.  This week’s question comes from Jane:

Just wondering, is there any restaurant that is doing a Royal Wedding Breakfast. My family in Toronto are going to one.

After some careful googling, I found a few interesting events happening in Los Angeles to celebrate the Royal Wedding:

  • The Langham in Pasadena: For $59, celebrate the Royal Wedding with “Royal Tea in the Tap Room: “Watch news coverage of the nuptials and enjoy a selection of savory tea sandwiches, scones with Devonshire cream, fruit tarts, mousse torts, crème brûlées, a variety of the finest teas and Kir Royale cocktails.”  1-4 pm
  • The Cat n’ Fiddle: Wear your pajamas and a tiara to a slumber party hosted by Brits in L.A. at this Hollywood pub.  From April 28 at 10 pm to April 29 at 4:30.
  • The White Harte Pub: Watch the wedding live and “uninterrupted” at this English pub in Woodland Hills.

Are you going to watch the nuptials?  I’d love to hear your viewing plans.
