Thrillist’s Chocolate Chip Pie
PIE-A-DAY #28
When my cousin Peggy passed away a couple years ago, her memorial service was filled with people talking about her joie de vivre — how, even in her old age, she was a youthful spirit. That certainly came across in her trademark recipe, a cookie pie that was a hallmark of birthdays, holiday parties, and any other special (and even not-so-special) events she showed up at — and even now, when I think of it, I think of her.
Peggy’s Cookie Pie
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups flour
1 1/4 cups Brown Sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup of butter
1/2 tsp water
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup of chocolate chips
Cream sugars & butter together, add the eggs, add water, vanilla, salt, baking soda and flour.
Pizza pan needs to be covered w/foil.
Spread on pizza pan and bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 325F.

I WANT A COOKIE!
The rest of the world knows this as BJ's Pizookie. Just sayin'.
What size pizza pan?
