A listener sent me this news: On March 13, Beachwood Canyon residents are holding a fundraising pie sale to help protect the Cahuenga Peak, the area behind the Hollywood sign. The group has to raise over $12 million to purchase the land from developers. Reports recently surfaced that a developer wants to build luxury housing on the land.
