Passover Dinner at Angeli Caffe

I’m not having a seder, instead it’s a fun dinner celebrating springtime.  One of the most fascinating aspects of the culinary tradition is it’s similarity to all traditions which have their roots in springtime festivals.  Passover, Easter, Persian Noruz and others all embrace the reawakening of the natural world after a long winter.  Lambs are born, sweet greens push their way out of the earth and the fertility of the egg is embraced.  This year I will do a mashup of European and Eastern Culinary Traditions.
