On April 17, the Ojai Women’s Committee is hosting a Farm to Table Tour. It will provide access to three working farms, with narrated tours given directly by growers and a chance to sample products on site.  The farms include: Earthtrine Farm, Friend’s Ranches, and Ojai Olive Oil.  Six chefs are preparing an al fresco lunch.  Most menu ingredients will be donated by local farmers and food vendors.  More info here.

The third farm is called EARTHRINE farm, a reference to BD Dautch, his wife and son making up the 3 major sign (earth, water, fire). BD has a wonderful organic vegetable garden and grows over 100 varieties of vegetables and herbs. If people don't have the time to attend the entire tour (that runs from 8:30 to 3), they can come just for the lunch (1:30 to 3) that will be served buffet style at Soule Park in a covered area. The menu is being prepared by six local chefs with locally-grown, organic food. You're in for a treat! Alice
