In Los Angeles, you’ll often hear “salud” instead of “cheers.” In fact, there are as many ways to toast as their are languages. For instance, in Scandinavia, people say “skål,” and in Thai, they say “sawasdi.” Here are a couple toasts that might work this holiday season:
