5 Eateries with Great Soundtracks

Sounds is important to me. It helps me relax. It assists with the great conversations with friends while enjoying a meal. I am that guy who will excuse himself from a table and Shazam the title of a song being played. Or I might even stop the conversation to point out the wonderful bass solo in a song. These are some of my favorite eateries in California that have always helped me develop my playlist for my KCRW shows. Yes, even at El Pollo Loco in Venice!

5 Eateries After a Late Night on the Town

As a club DJ, my hours differ from most Angelinos.  My day starts at 9 pm and ends when the suns rises.  So a late night meal is a must unless I’m paranoid about ruining my amazing physique.  There are two elements of importance to a great late night snack. One is environment —  I love to people watch when eating or waiting for my food.  The sound and ambiance is also essential.  I love noise, music, and a very busy aesthetic.   The second is obviously the quality of the food.  Taste and texture are major factors for me.
