Curtis Fentress is architect of this proposed sky bridge, part of LAX expansion

On last week’s DnA we talked about the Theme Building at LAX and its role as a sign for a featureless airport as well as retrofuturistic icon for the age of oil. We also mentioned next steps for Los Angeles International Airport: a major expansion designed by architect Curtis Fentress, whose credits include Denver International Airport. Well, you can hear directly from Curtis this Thursday, May 27, at A+D Museum on Miracle Mile, when he will talk about and sign copies of his new book Touchstones of Design.

Very good blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely overwhelmed .. Any tips? Thanks a lot!
