What We Learned From Flying a Drone in Leimert Park

It was a sunny February day in Los Angeles. The sky was perfectly blue, unmuddled by smog. We were in Leimert Park in South Los Angeles to see a new “People Street.” And we brought our drone.

Beyond the Dog House: Architects Design for our Furry Friends

Just opened at the Long Beach Museum of Art is a show called “Architecture for Dogs,” featuring 13 innovative designs custom-made for different breeds. There’s some seriously cool stuff here: a knitted piece for the fuzzy white Bichon Frise, a cooling lounge chair for the overheated pup, and several innovative updates to the dog house.
