4. Beyond Graffiti 2 + Urban Hike in Highland Park from A+D Museum

A+D Museum is hosting two great events this weekend: the opening reception of an exhibit focused on graffiti artists and an “Urban Hike” in Highland Park.

Beyond Graffiti 2 will feature the work of artists including: Aise Born, Atlas, Axis, Chaz and more. The exhibit aims to show that graffiti “is more than just adding color or words to a wall – it is an expressive gesture vis à vis architecture, design, and the landscape of the city in which we live.”

And in Highland Park, you’ll get a tour of the neighborhood’s attractions including the Heritage Square Museum, the home of Charles Fletcher Lummis and a heavy dose of Craftsman style architecture.
