4) Obscura Society LA: Screen Time at the Print Lab

The graphic T-shirt has become a bonafide fashion staple. This tour of the Print Lab will show you firsthand how every tee comes together, from design and screening to inking and drying. Every attendee will leave with a shirt just for them. As a bonus, the space doubles as a temporary home for the Valley Relics Museum, a vast collection of roadside and road trip artifacts, founded and curated by the Lab’s Tommy Gelinas. Since the Museum has reached capacity, some of its interesting objects have spilled over into the Print Lab, which you may catch a glance of at the Screen Time tour.

When: Thursday, June 16, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Materials & Applications is hosting an opening night party for the pop-up golf course in Echo Park, where you can check out the project and play nine holes. The following week, bring a team back with you for M&A’s TURF Tournament.
